Maitha Hamdan is a multidisciplinary artist who explores her art through different mediums, from art installations to performances. Hamdan has found that dealing with fabric and textiles is the common foundation of her artwork and performances. They narrate and tell the stories faced within social boundaries and religion. Hamdan is also a filmmaker and performer who writes creatively in Arabic. She is part of Cohort 7 of Sheikha Salama Bint Hamdan Foundation’s Salama Emerging Artists Fellowship Program.
