Mashael Alsaie is a Bahraini artist and photographer based in the UAE. Her work investigates the intersection between mythology, body, and land. Alsaie holds a BA in Urban Studies from UC Berkeley and is currently pursuing an MA in Photography, Video, and Media Arts from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University. Her work has featured in group exhibitions at Warehouse421 (2021), PS122 New York (2019), and Misk (2020). She has recently completed a residency at Residency Unlimited in Brooklyn, New York, and is currently a part of Cohort 8 of the Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Emerging Artists Fellowship in Abu Dhabi.
