Thinking about Thinking

Whenever I walk along the Dubai Creek or Baniyas Street, I see a lot of people from different walks of life. Sitting, walking, just standing, talking, some are alone and some are with friends or other people. I go to this part of the city most of the time, on my days off or after my morning shift, for a little me time. It offers a different vibe, a lot of colors, and the most amazing sunset. Also, it helps me process my thoughts. To assess things that have happened. To think of ways to make my ideas come to fruition. Sometimes I reminisce about the happy moments or the sad ones. Or think of people and sometimes cry because of them. It is my way to disconnect from everything and after some time, reconnect. Seeing these people gets me thinking, “Are they here for the same reason?”
