Reconstitution of Being
My artwork is a representation of my thoughts on behavior and emotions mixed with my dreams and my surroundings. The landscape in my artwork is a metaphor for the complexity of inner feelings, and nature harmonizes the mind to find the power of healing within in order to move on. With its variety of shapes, colors, textures, and seasons, the concept of my artwork is mostly personal, mixed with external influences and a surreal hint that leave my work open to many interpretations. I chose the mixed media medium because it gives me the freedom to create unique and limitless scenes that deliver a deeper meaning.
Noura Al Ali is a visual artist from Abu Dhabi. She holds a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from Zayed University’s College of Art and Creative Enterprises. Al Ali creates mixed media artwork, paintings, photographs, and sculptures. Her works are a record of her emotional response to everything around her. She finds that art can express her thoughts more than words can. Al Ali’s work has been exhibited in the UAE, as well as in exhibitions at the Mauritius international Art Fair, IGOA in Toronto, and the Art Fair at Le Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, among others.
