Noise Borne by the Body

"Souls in my world hovering, desperate thoughts and despair hard as stone."

Sometimes you might feel as if you have lived for a hundred years. You feel the weight of your decisions, experiences, and the influence the world has on you. But life is not only about inner thoughts and tormenting your psyche. Flip this artwork and try to see it for what it really is.

"Millions of my thoughts have matured into inedible mushrooms"

This piece is dedicated to everyone who self reflects, building empires inside their minds and reaching a point in which they cannot translate their inner selves to the outer world. They end up living in these empires alone.

"A Woman Worth a Thousand Human Beings"

This could be a mere reference to how many women seem to live a double life. Noise is projected all over them as people watch. These women are expected to never commit a mistake. They know our merciless world is filled with cruel people, yet these women power on and succeed.

"Mind Carriers"

My artwork does not always perceive things through the lens of gender. But in my personal experience, I have watched women endure a lot of “noise” in their lives, helping to shape me into the person I am today. Take a moment to absorb both the noise and the calm of the woman’s existence in this piece.
