I am

I am is a project that asks, “Who am I?”, through themes surrounding the achievement of self-discovery, self-understanding, and self-love, while pursuing emotional, psychological and social balance.

Lidiya Zelke is a multidisciplinary artist from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She has worked at various organizations as a creative director, graphic designer, and civil engineer. Zelke has participated in several local and international exhibitions including Heylayer's SATOSHE and HERNFT Project as one of 20 selected artists worldwide. She was also one of five artists from Africa selected to participate in the KIPAYA (What's new) exhibition prepared by FORMAT Festivals, FOTEA, New Art City, and the British Council. Zelke’s work has been published in various magazines such as Fèroce Magazine UK, En Vie Magazine, Figs magazine, Picton Magazine, and Boarderland Journal by Espacio Fronterizo. She is currently participating in Voice x Women Rise NFT Residency.
